Why We Need To Learn To Apologise with AJ Grossman

Saying "sorry" is often overlooked or seen as something that is not that important or something that is not very meaningful.

However, the ability to take responsibility for something we've done is courageous and extremely important.

We all want to feel acknowledged and valued by others, and when someone doesn’t apologise for something they’ve done, they miss out on making a person feel cared for. In these
moments we must put ourselves in another’s position and think about how we would feel.

Taking responsibility for what you did and acknowledging the impact or hurt through a sincere apology is incredibly powerful. Saying “sorry” is not just something that happens in the home, but everywhere – at work, on the street, with friends, with strangers etc. It is can be so powerful when done in a sincere manner. So when is it appropriate to apologise and how does this impact our relationships with people?

Arthur J. Grossman III, J.D., LL.M., Esq., CEO

I focus my efforts on providing people with solutions to their problems that protect their interests and give them hope.

A.J. Grossman graduated from San Jose State University with a degree in business administration and at the top of his Florida law school class. He immediately went on to achieve his Master of Laws degree in Dispute Resolution from The Straus Institute at Pepperdine University Law School in California, which is the #1 ranked Dispute Resolution program in the country.

As the son of a Navy Officer and the founder of several businesses, he learned quickly about service to others. A.J.’s goal is to help people solve problems, plain and simple. Being in the right place, doing the right thing, at the right time, for a person (or couple of people) in need, drives A.J. to continue growing his legal practice. He focuses his efforts on providing solutions that protect the interests of those who seek amicable resolutions in their lives.

“I help people like the listeners of this show solve problems. Why? Because I get something more valuable than a fee. I get daily affirmation that I am in the right place doing the right thing when a client shares how my work has transformed their life for the better.”
